Lester Barrie is a comedy legend. However, having labored in ministry long before ever hitting the comedy club stage, Lester Barrie never strayed far from his faith. In addition to his many accolades as an entertainer, he was ordained as a senior pastor, serving in that role for 10 years. Subsequently, he served as an assistant pastor for two years. Lester Barrie is now bi-vocational in the fields of ministry and entertainment, professing both as full-time occupations.

Lester Barrie is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he attended on a debate team scholarship. He is continuing his pursuit of an MDiv at Gateway Theological Seminary (formerly Golden Gate). Lester is proudly a lifelong learner. He has been married to Trinette Barrie since 2013. She also labors the field of ministry. Together, they have a daughter named Karis Jewell, born in 2016, and a blended family that includes River Jordan, born in 1995, Lester’s son from a previous marriage. Lester’s first grandchild, Lennox, was born in 2024.
